Where you going all dressed up?!?!?…..Ummm, to work! LOL! This is so funny to me because for a while now, the consensus has been that relaxed is the way to go. I felt a shift in my attitude toward clothes approaching when I actually wore some heels a few posts ago and since getting fully vaccinated (This is not a political thing, I have my reasons, do you beloved). The desire to move around and get back to fashion requiring more thought and specific intention has been on the rise in my mind.
I’ve been making the rounds and decided to get into a few days a week actually focusing on business casual. Keep in mind my idea of this term is different and peppered with my own personal “cool girl” style. I picked up this cute faux leather skirt and I must admit, it is thin! Not sure what the material is off hand but I really liked that I got the look of of this real thing, somewhat but not the heat and stickiness that comes with Spring temps that can be unpredictable.
You guys know I am a fiend for cardigans and this one did not disappoint. A beautiful spring yellow, double breasted with textured buttons. I picked it up in a large and it fit me perfectly due to it’s oversized drape. I’m still in baby deer mode with wearing heels all day but my kitten ones have been a lifesaver! My glazed calf skin Chanel tote is a staple for business days, holding my laptop, documents, water, snack and everything else! A good work tote is a great investment and you will definitely get a great amount of cost per wear.
