A new year and a new age for me! January 3, 2022 I turned 38 years old….YES…I am 38! Time is flying and I find myself wondering what’s in store for the new year. Of course I have things I’d like to do and accomplish but I’d be lying if I said that I was optimistic that I will crush them all…and that’s OK. Based on the last 2 years I’ve learned one thing for sure…you can’t be in control of everything….all the time. Life has a way of scooping you up and turning you around! Plans get interrupted by hiccups and you have to adjust. BUT that’s what makes it interesting….the adjustments, and how fast and efficiently you make things happen in spite of a detour or two.
This year on the blog I will be making shorter posts to highlight what I wear daily, with beauty and hair deets as well. If you follow me on IG you’ll notice that my style changes from day to day. I still work out in the community alot, even with the pandemic and my work wear, lounge wear and weekend family time fits are all very different! I’m looking forward to exploring more of this with you guys.
2021 was a great year for me! I collaborated with some amazing brands, helped out friends with small businesses and really just enjoyed my tribe! There is so much going on in the world right now, I pray that each of you is safe and doing well, mentally and physically. Trust yourself, trust the process and keep jaywalking! LET’S GO 2022, be nice to us, now….don’t start no shit!
