My favorite theme when dressing daily is basically, “Where is she going?!” If you’ve never heard this concept, it’s because I’ve coined it myself. This is my style mantra.
I like to prepare for the day and look ready for whatever may happen. This look is exactly that…comfortable but dressy, laid back but in your face, soft but hard. I paired a sexy knee length slip dress with a distressed oversized jean jacket and white sneakers. It was looking a little flat, so a pop of faux fur by way of on oversized clutch added some much needed texture.
Literally with this one outfit I can go to brunch with friends, a grocery run, concert or movie date! Removing and adding items can quickly change the itinerary of the day or night. Take off the jacket and add a pair of heels, it’s a party! Pop on a sweater or cardigan and head to the office! The possibilities are endless! Mix and match pieces for different occasions is always a winner and time saver!
