Teddy coats are a popular trend again this year and there are so many options as to where to buy them from high to low end. Living in the
South, I usually tend to stick to a neutral color when it comes to coats, something that will work with all my outfits year after year. I use the logic that this is sensible due to a vast majority of the time, the opportunities to wear them are far in between.
While my usual rule of thumb for coat purchases seemed full proof…it was so boring! This year, I’m stepping out into color and you should too! I
paired this beautiful sage green teddy coat with a relaxed vibe that is perfect for shopping and errands before the holiday. A pair of olive
riding pants and a long sleeve tee are the perfect touch to go underneath.
You guys know I like to keep accessories simple but make big statements. A mix of metals really helped the muted green of my coat. Leaf embroidered gold hoop earrings and a rose gold crossbody clutch went a long way in breaking up the color scheme.
Think about ways to create some color during the winter months. Step away from blacks and browns. I know it’s super difficult because they’re my favs but it’s so fun to let color in to warm you up during the cold months.
