One thing I’ve been thinking about is fast fashion and trends. I know so many people began decluttering and rethinking purchases during the pandemic and I was definitely one of them. I do indulge in trendy clothing but to certain point….I stick to neutrals and classic silhouettes, most importantly things that I love because no matter what comes and goes, if I like it, I like it.
I’m late to the shoulder pad tee/sweatshirt game….I loved the look of this trend on other people but with a more round and plus frame, I was unsure if it would look flattering on me…..I was wrong! Def feeling the trend and thought it looked super modern with a pair of joggers. The neutral palette served to camouflage this look from athleisure to more casual. I always describe my style and blogging motivation in general as “Cool Girl Jay meets Mom Mode.” Basically, I like to be comfortable and able to move around but on trend and up to date. I saw this soft pink hoodie on another influencer and immediately added to cart! I love sweatshirts as you guys know and usually that’s what I wear in Fall and Winter daily while working from home and errands. I didn’t want to wear a basic legging so I paired this look with my beloved leather ones and it instantly dressed it up. My holy grail mom bag, the infamous Louis Vuitton neverfull hit all the mom mode check boxes! Ready to go and snacks in tow for my toddler.

I’ve missed you my favorite blogger! I’m currently finding a new style for myself. For the past two years well almost three, I’ve thrown my style out the window. I had a baby, was a SAHM, and then started working from home. My attire was leggings and T-shirts EVERYDAY! Then Covid hit and it got worse because I wasn’t going anywhere. Now, I’m ready to get myself and my style back on track! That’s why I’ve been loving your blog. You’ve given me so many outfit ideas and fashion tips!

I’m back! LOL! It’s so nice to be missed. It keeps me going! My blog was my attempt to get myself together after being a first time mom. I wanted to hold on to a piece of myself. “cool girl Jay” is still there inside me and I hold on to her for dear life even when I’m tired!
