The Love Affair Continues…Hard and Soft

If you do not have a satin skirt and/or dress this Fall…..stop what you’re doing and get one…LITERALLY NOW! This is such a hot trend this year and there are options from high end to low, like the one I’m wearing here in this beautiful rose gold, from Forever 21. I decided to pair it with a shirt that represents the complete opposite, a croc pattern tee in black.

I let the skirt steal the show by accessorizing with basic black pumps and a black bag, with a pair of sparkle, yet subtle drop earrings.

It was a beautiful day here in Little Rock, so a jacket wasn’t needed but I’m totally going to recreate this look as we move into colder temperatures with a pair of booties, a leather jacket or faux fur!

Budget tip when you’re shopping…think of the long game! Look for items that you can use and create the most looks over the most seasons. I’ve been obsessed lately with the concept of cost per wear! I love to feel good about my purchases. This means buying with no regret and getting joy when I put something on.

Great fashion tips! Sometimes you don’t think to mix fabrics or darker with lighter colors. I’ve never been big on skirts but you’re making me want to go buy one! Thanks girl!
