The holidays are fast approaching and first up is Thanksgiving! I saw a hilarious meme that asked, ” Do you have your outfit ready to wear to the living room on Thanksgiving?” I got a real kick out of this because it held so much truth! On holidays, it’s rare I go anywhere except my own living room or that of family.
Needless to say, you still want to be fashionable. Relaxed but effortlessly styled. Who knows what the day may bring….unexpected run for an early black friday sale that evening, friends stopping by for a piece of your mom’s speciality dish, dessert or drinks at a neighbor’s home while playing a few games…you need to be ready!
I’ll be taking the safe route this week with my outfit, a mix of a comfortable knit and stretch for all the yummy food I plan to indulge in! I paired an off the shoulder dark orange sweater, with a pair of houndstooth knitted pants. The orange stripe in the pants gives just enough color to compliment the sweater. Added a pair of white sneakers and this beautiful clutch to hold my essentials. This look is going to take me from breakfast to any late night hometown fun!
