Mix and Match, Literally!

First off….I can’t stop wearing these leggings and don’t plan on it until it warms up! These are the best faux leather leggings for a great price! I snagged them at Target and they are by Wild Fable. My particular pair that are more of a trouser legging hybrid seem to be sold out, but I linked a similar pair above.

Now! The way I get serious bang out of my buck (you guys know this is always a priority for me) in regard to my fashion choices is by mixing all my categories of clothes….work wear, leisure clothes and night outfits! I know…. I know….this can be tricky and definitely go wrong if you’re not careful. Some night items are not meant for day wear no matter what you pair it with! But by using more conservative items you look modern, cool and put together from the office, to a PTA meeting, to a date night dinner…all in the same day! Want to know how to pull it off??….here’s how!

An example is my ensemble on this post. Of course the statement piece is the legging! I’d usually wear these on a date night or out with girlfriends, but hey, they’re super comfy and warm….daytime wear, here we go! A simple gray cotton Walmart tee by Time and Tru makes the bottoms casual. Add a little work flair with a plaid blazer and you’re ready to go! This outfit is 24 hour full proof.
