Summer is coming to a close and I find myself wondering how did it go by so fast?!? I literally have said that for the last 4 seasons but it still remains a fact. In a rush to wear any items that were in the closet worn before the cooler temps slide in, I grabbed this cute tiered ruffle midi dress from J. Crew. The white and blue stripe is called Banker Blue and while I was questionable about the silhouette, I received many compliments in it because of the obvious selling point….POCKETS! That instantly adds the value, don’t you think?
My last blog post was about how I like to wear different styles to curate my looks. In this one, I look super sweet….that’s usually not my thing but I got caught up in the persona and that’s how I view style. I love to take on the character of what I’m wearing. This day, the sun was shining, I was coming off a great getaway and I’d received a great evaluation at work. My aim was to be light, fresh and exude positivity.
As always, a mix of off the rack affordable fashion and a designer piece merge the perfect combo! My blue bag is the XS Balenciaga Hourglass and holds all my essentials perfectly. It comes in a variety of leathers, sizes and colors!
Preparation for Fall is seriously a must right now, especially in the influencer game, but wasting funds and resources isn’t my thing. Temps here in the South are still in the 90s, so I’ve started scouting looks but haven’t taken pulled the trigger on much. I’m frantically getting it in with all my Summer favs, new and old before it’s time to retire them. What trends should I be looking out for regarding Fall? Mini purses are my current favs! I love seeing how much I can get inside! Now, if you would have asked me a few years ago about white after labor day, I would have been like, NO! NEVER! But, life is short, people should throw away the conventional ways and wear what they like. A beautiful pair of white slacks or winter white coat can definitely add some fun!

I definitely will be into red, olive, black, camel. Everyone usually loves the burgundy, mustard and chocolate brown as staples, so I’m looking to switch it up a little. Might incorporate some navy.
My fav for fall are leather or faux leather bottoms. Leggings, skirts, or shorts with tights. Itās something about leather that makes you feel lux and on trend for the holiday season! Loved the dress on you by the wayā¦and the bag!!!
